Executive Golf & Leisure are delighted to be supporting Golfers Against Cancer

Executive Golf & Leisure are delighted to be supporting Golfers Against Cancer in Houston, Texas.

Golfers Against Cancer is an all-volunteer charitable organization that raises money by conducting golf tournaments and hosting dinners. Proceeds from these events are used to fund research seeking cures to various cancers.

Executive  Golf & Leisure donated a 4 night stay at Gleneagles, Scotland which raised £25,000 for this worthy cause and we would like to wish Golfers Against Cancer a fantastic golf day at Forest Course at Kingwood and fund raising efforts from the prize giving dinner and auction tonight.

New Code Share From North America to Scottish Highlands

American superhero Wonder Woman made a flying visit to Inverness last week to celebrate the signing of a new codeshare agreement between Irish airline Aer Lingus and UK regional operator Flybe that makes flying to the Highlands form the States easier than ever.

The codeshare agreement means that passengers flying to Inverness from the United States and Canada can now do so with a single stop in Dublin. Passengers can book flights from Boston, New York, Orlando and Toronto on the Aer Lingus website, check their bags in and collect them at Inverness on arrival.

Ops director Mairead Smith Hume from Executive Golf and Leisure was delighted with the news,

"With the ever increasing profile of golf in the Highlands and North East of Scotland this new travel option may be attractive to a number of Executive Golf and Leisure clients. We have seen a substantial increase in traffic to this part of Scotland since the opening of Castle Stuart and Trump International at Aberdeen complementing the already established golf business to Nairn and Royal Dornoch. This is really positive news for golf in The Highlands."

Inglis Lyon, Managing Director of Inverness Airport operator HIAL said: "This is excellent news for Highland air passengers. It means that passengers can now book trips to the United States and Canada using the Aer Lingus website with just one seamless stop in Dublin. Aer Lingus is a fast growing airline with an exciting long haul route network. We are delighted that Inverness is now part of that network."

Clients should contact Executive Golf and Lesiure for further information on golf vacations to the Scottish Highlands and any advice on travel plans.
